I have chosen the song “Final Movie Scene” by Jobi Riccio who I discovered at AmericanaFest. I went to see T Bone Burnett play in a beautiful venue in Nashville and after his set this young artist came onstage and I became a fan that night! I have chosen the painting “Guardian Angel of the West Coast” by Jerry McElroy. My Dad once spent a summer living in a lighthouse in Parksville on Vancouver Island. His job was to keep watch and be a guardian over the area. I am pairing this song and painting with organic ginger tea. It is very healing and “pleasantly spicy and warming” which is great for wintertime. This song, painting, and tea together blend elements of earth, air, fire, and water.
